BEATS BY DRE HEADPHONES




I got the assignment to create a digital asset of a real product. I chose to explore subdivision surface modeling in Blender, with the goal to create a pair of Beats By Dre headphones. I textured them in Blender and Substance painter. The lightning and rendering was done in Blender. One requirement was uploading the model to Sketchfab. ​
The biggest lesson I learned from this project was that I want to get better at procedural modeling, as this way of working gave me a bit of a headache when mistakes were made. I understood early on that I needed to work in a structured way and save copies during the process, as it can be difficult to correct a problem afterwards and require going back to a previous version.
